MFMFC Annual Rodeos: Roscommon & Lapeer County
The 2011 Michigan FMFC

A very big thanks to Simulation Technology's customers and partners: Addison Fire & EMS, East Tawas Fire Department, Grand Rapids Fire Department, and Michigan State Police. They provided their mobile driving simulation classroom trailers for the event, as well as supplied staff to help run the event. The rodeo would not have been a success without them.
The Michigan Fireman's Driving Simulation Rodeos will consist of four mobile classroom trailers that house five driving sims collectively.
Each trailer will have a specific scenario that each contestant must drive over the two-day competition.
To Compete / Registration
At each sim trailer there will be an instructor with paperwork. The instructor will give you a form which you will take with you around to each sim trailer as you compete. Your scores will be marked on this paper.

Scoring
Scores are comprised of points that are totaled from each driven sim scenario. The points are based on best practices of safe driving and time to get to the incident. Each scenario will have a declared winner with the best score. A grand prize winner will be declared with an overall best score of all the scenarios combined.
Drive-Off
In case of tied scores on the individual and combined scenarios, there will be drive-off scenarios or skills handling training on the sims to declare the true winner.
Prizes
Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the individual scenario top score winners and the overall grand prize winner with the best collective score. Prizes will be awarded by Spartan and FireCom.
Guidelines
A show attendee can only compete once
You must be a certified/badged fire responder to qualify as a "winner"
You must be of age to drive
No employee of Spartan, Sim Tech, or FireCom may compete
No customer/trainer of Sim Tech may compete
